Student Advisory Groups

Make your voice heard. Help shape the future of CDSS.

CDSS undergraduate students are invited to participate in the CDSS Dean's Undergraduate Student Leadership Forum and the CDSS Dean’s Undergraduate Student Cabinet. These spaces are dedicated to student advocacy, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue with college leadership.

Undergraduate Student Leadership Forum

The CDSS Dean's Undergraduate Student Leadership Forum advises college leaders on matters that impact the undergraduate experience. While it plays an advisory (non-governance) role, the Leadership Forum is a powerful platform for students to advocate for improvements to academics and co-curricular life; surface concerns and share ideas with decision-makers; and help build a stronger CDSS and campus community.

Undergraduate Student Cabinet

The CDSS Dean's Undergraduate Student Cabinet is a smaller, representative group of approximately 15-20 students selected from the Dean's Undergraduate Student Leadership Forum that engages more deeply with CDSS leadership. Cabinet members meet monthly with college leaders to provide focused feedback on policies and student services; test ideas; and contribute to initiatives that enhance the undergraduate experience.
