The new state-of-the-art home of the UC Berkeley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS) will bring together more than 1,325 faculty, students, researchers, partners and staff to spark AI-driven discovery and interdisciplinary collaboration across campus and beyond.

Guests enjoyed interactive research and education exhibits, guided tours and inspiring words by Jennifer Chayes, CDSS dean; Ion Stoica, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS); Omar Yaghi, the James and Neeltje Tretter Professor of Chemistry; Andres Gutierrez, recently graduated data science student; Rose Niousha, EECS Ph.D. student and co-president of Computer Science Graduate Entrepreneurs; and Rich Lyons, UC Berkeley Chancellor.
