Juan Chihuahua joined the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS) in August 2026 as a college advisor for the Undergraduate Advising team. He brings a wealth of student services, student affairs and college access experience from multiple departments on campus such as the Fall Program for First Semester, New Student Services, and the Destination College Advising Corps.

Juan is no stranger to the UC Berkeley experience. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley in 2019 and received a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of San Francisco in 2024. He is excited to support CDSS students in navigating their academic journeys here at Cal!
