Degree list vs. Commencement list
Degree List: To graduate, students must be added to the degree list by the beginning of the semester (Spring, Summer or Fall) you expect to complete all graduation requirements (e.g., breadth, major, minor). This is automatically done through Cal Central during your final semester (or by CDSS petition, once the semester begins).
- This is how students officially signal to the university that they are ready to graduate, and are in the process of completing the final courses for their degree.
Commencement List: List of names of all registered graduates who will be included in the printed program for the May commencement ceremony.
