Summer 2024 - Virtual Drop-In Advising Sessions

  • At this time, virtual drop-ins are available to continuing UC Berkeley students declared in a CDSS major. To connect with drop-in advising, check the calendar below for hours and SUBMIT THE ONLINE INTAKE FORM
  • For Fall 2024 first-year and transfer admits in CDSS, connect with us through Golden Bear Advising bCourses
  • Drop-in advising will open to Fall 2024 admitted students after Golden Bear Advising has been completed.
  • For prospective students interested in applying to a CDSS major, we will begin meeting with prospective students in Fall 2024. Please refer to the Student FAQs for additional information.

Courses and Requirements

Students who were admitted to Berkeley prior to Fall 2024 have the option of completing their CDSS degrees by meeting the L&S requirements or the CDSS course requirements. Beginning Fall 2024 and onward, newly admitted students must meet CDSS course requirements and policies.
