About Diego:
I was born and raised in Compton, CA, and have been in the Bay Area since 2017. I am a proud first-generation, Latinx UC Berkeley alum. Before CDSS, I was an intake advisor for the Educational Opportunity Program at Berkeley. I am excited to continue my professional journey with CDSS and look forward to connecting with our diverse student communities. My approach to advising is underscored by empathy, understanding, and authenticity.

I have six black cats.
