Dr. Mohammad Alkuran is the Director of Systems Engineering for the Storage Business Unit at Enphase Energy, Fremont, California. Mohammad leads the team that is responsible for the system architecture of the Ensemble platform; Enphase’s energy management platform combining solar, storage, management, cloud and a mobile app. Mohammad began his career as an RFIC design engineer working on designing integrated circuits for communication applications serving customers like Samsung, LG and Intel. He then held various positions in engineering and product development, during which time he co-founded 4 different start-up companies. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the City University of New York, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Jordan.
