Janice Lee comes to CDSS from the Foundation for California Community Colleges, an auxiliary to the California Community Colleges' Board of Governors and Chancellor's Office, where she helped build an individual giving program for the organization.

Prior to the foundation, she worked with multidisciplinary development teams at Stanford University in support of several research institutes and initiatives, including Stanford Data Science, Stanford HAI, and interdisciplinary life sciences. At Stanford, Janice worked with fundraisers, faculty, and staff leaders on donor & volunteer engagement and stewardship efforts, providing high-level project management and thought partnership.

Janice began her career in development at a music education nonprofit in Oakland while serving as an adjunct faculty at Merritt College.
