The award-winning, architect-led Geopogo team is rapidly revolutionizing the design and construction process with patented 3D visualization subscription software. We have a launched AR (augmented reality) product with paying customers around the world, three granted AR and Metaverse patents, and strong partnerships with Magic Leap (AR software), Oracle (construction management software), and Siemens (AR for maritime, aviation, and automotive applications). We apply our values of transparency, inclusion, and collaboration to guide our nurturing work environment and to democratize design and construction. Our Berkeley-based company has a close relationship with UCB, having completed the Berkeley SkyDeck incubator and the UC Launch accelerator, worked with nearly 100 interns from UC Berkeley, and signed the Berkeley Pledge to support the university financially through our future success, as well as having a UCB CS graduate leading our software development team.
In Spring'23, we will build on the data project already initiated by our current Discovery Program data science interns. This project to apply data science to advance AR has four facets: 1) direct contribution to our software development for AR glasses and mobile devices; 2) UX research into how customers use AR; 3) embedding extractable data sets into our city-scale 3D models; and 4) collecting and analyzing our business data.
