George Obaido is a research program manager at the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS), where he supports the development and delivery of research programs that connect students, faculty, industry partners, and community organizations. He is passionate about scaling research programs, expanding access to experiential learning opportunities, and creating pathways for students to engage in meaningful, real-world research.

His research interests lie in the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to address complex societal challenges, with a particular focus on developing practical, responsible and data-driven solutions. George is especially interested in interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge research, technology and societal impact.
