Robbie Powers is Assistant Dean of Students at the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society. He has worked at UC Berkeley since 2020 as Director of Student Services for the Department of History and the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. Powers also serves on the campus’ Student Services Managers working group and is a co-chair and member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on LGBTQ+ Communities at Cal. His career has included student support roles at The New School, New York University, William Paterson University, Seton Hall University, and the State University of New York at Geneseo. 

In his role at CDSS, he leads the college’s Student Services team in supporting student success. He is excited to connect with faculty, students, and staff on ways to build community,  enhance the cocurricular experience, and deepen the impact that CDSS can have on the career growth of students. 

In his free time, Robbie enjoys camping, participating in a local board game group, and spoiling his senior pug mix.
