Robbie Powers (he/him) is assistant dean of students at the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS). He has worked at UC Berkeley since 2020 as director of student services for the Department of History and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Powers serves on the campus’ Student Services Managers working group and has been a co-chair and member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on LGBTQ+ Communities at Cal. His career has included student support roles at The New School, New York University, William Paterson University, Seton Hall University, and the State University of New York at Geneseo.

In his role at CDSS, Robbie supports all student-facing programs, including academic advising and co-curricular programs for all graduate, undergraduate and visiting students.
