CDSS Transfer Empowerment Program

The Transfer Empowerment Program is a transformative experience designed for current CDSS transfer students who seek to grow personally, professionally, and academically. Students will develop leadership skills, forge lasting friendships, and find a true sense of belonging. Prospective students can learn more about additional resources on our Admissions webpage

Our program offers students a unique opportunity to engage in personal and professional development. The program features multiple professional panels where students can connect with industry professionals – many of whom are actively hiring Berkeley students! Our program also curates graduate school panels to support research and program exploration. The Transfer Empowerment Program will help enhance your transfer experience through academic support, tutoring, and faculty connections.

Hello World Campanile Visit

Hello World, Transfer Track

The CDSS Hello World mentorship program provides a supportive community for the incoming class of transfer students through its dedicated Transfer Track. The program creates a space where transfer students can connect with others and build a network of support that will continue beyond their time at Berkeley.

Through Hello World, students will be paired with a mentor who is a fellow transfer student in the same major. Mentors have experience navigating academic programs and can guide students to valuable resources and opportunities. The track also introduces resources for internships and post-graduation employment.

Submit the interest form today and become part of the CDSS Hello World community!
